Open Special Issues

There are two special issues open related to Task 2.3 of WP2.

​

               i) Fermentation of Alternative Protein Sources in the Design of Novel Foods was accepted in Foods (IF: 4.350), a peer-reviewed open access journal of food science.

Dr. Pascal Bonnarme and Dr. Sophie Landaud are the guest editors.

The deadline for manuscript submissions is 15th December 2022.

            ii) Natural biomolecules: Emerging technologies towards novel food formulation development was accepted in Molecules (IF: 4.412), a peer-reviewed open access journal of chemistry.

Dr. Lillian Barros, Dr. Ana Gomes and Dr. Taofiq Oludemi are the guest editors.

The deadline for manuscript submissions is 1st June 2022.

Novel Food

The SYSTEMIC project “an integrated approach to the challenge of sustainable food systems: adaptive and mitigatory strategies to address climate change and malnutrition", Knowledge hub on Nutrition and Food Security, has received funding from national research funding parties in Belgium (FWO), France (INRAE), Germany (BLE), Italy (MIPAAF), Latvia (IZM), Norway (RCN), Portugal (FCT), and Spain (AEI) in a joint action of JPI HDHL, JPI-OCEANS and FACCE-JPI launched in 2019 under the ERA-NET ERA-HDHL (n° 696295).
